I have solution for this font bug.

Try this.
In MySQL Query Browser go to 'Options>General Options' Application Fonts section.
In 'Code Font' field line click 'Choose...' button and set this font values:

Font = Courier New; Font-style = Regular; Size = 11;

Then click 'Ok'.

Application will have now this settings"

'Code font = Courier New; Width & Size = 11;'.

Now just hit 'Apply' button.

It looks clean and it's better than default crapy values.
