Could not start service MySQL. Error: 0
I'm new to sql so bear with me.
I'm setting up MySQL 5.5 on an windows xp professional 32 bit machine.
when I get to the "processing configuration" point after pressing execute I get "Could not start service MySQL. Error: 0" with a red x on start service.
If i try to start the MySQL service in services i get "Could not start the MySQL service on the local computer Error3: The system cannot find the path specified".
I'm thinking I have to choose one of the sub directories of the install directory for InnoDB datafile when I'm configuring it?
Has anyone run into this particular issue before?
