But I though that MySQL provides its own port/interface so Windows limitation of TCP connections didn't apply. Am I incorrect? (I wouldn't be surprised.) I need to know because I will be installing a database that will easily have a few hundred connections to it, and I have to know if I need to buy Windows server.
