Installing MySQL-devel-xxxx
I intend to install MySQL-devel-xxx as it ends up being a prerequisite to installing perl:DBD / DBI. My concern is I already have a functioning mysql in dev, qa and production environment. Will installing this overwrite any of my existing mysql settings? Also is this advisable to install in production as it is mysql-devel. However if I dont install this I will not get perl::DBD working. Hence the concern.
