How to compile scripts without compiling the server?

Hi

I'm trying to build just the mysql client libraries and the mysql_config utility...

Problem, is that as soon as I build with -DWITHOUT_SERVER=ON, then the mysql_config utility isn't built.

Is there a way to build it without compiling the server?

it takes a very long amount of time to build the server, and I don't need it for my purpose.. However I do need mysql_config to build various external utilities and python plugins.
