source ip of current connection request - never mind

I've searched the documentation for a system variable but could not find any reference. I'm looking for a variable in MySQL Proxy that holds the ip address that is currently requesting a server connection, i.e. a request that results in calling (if configured) a lua script funciton server_connect(). I'd appreciate any pointers in the direction to a system variable or any other way to obtain the requesting ip.

Found it just after posting, look under client.src.address
