Re: Can't compile Workbench under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (AMD_64)

Hi again all,

I managed to get it working, but I "cheated" - I used "sudo make install" instead of installing to the directory of my choice. I would still be grateful for an answer as to how to get it working the way I want, i.e. total control over the code and its location.

TIA and rgs,

Paul...

p.s. I am really interested in learning about how to do things properly, so any "broad stroke" explanation of the principles underlying what's going on and where I went wrong when I tried a custom install would be gratefully received.
