ibdata1 file is getting deleted when uninstalled mysql5.6.10/11

I have installed mysql5.6.11 version. I kept the mysql\data folder in the installation directory itself. Then created two databases and few tables. Later i uninstalled mysql5.6.11 from my machine but here it is deleting all the files ibdata1 and other supporting files from the data folder except the newly created databases folder. Again if I installed in the same location then previous databases tables are not able to access. its saying doesn't exists. It was not happening with previous version i.e. mysql5.5

Can some one help on this plz? As i want to keep the data folder in the installed mysql folder only.
