Can uninstall or repair mysql connector - HELP

Hello guys,
I installed mysql connector 6.6.5 and had to unistall it.

Now am trying to install it again and it keeps saying mysql has encountered a problem and has to exit prematurely.

I searched online and noticed a lot of people have similar problems but none of the solutions worked for me.

Someone advised to search the registry and delete every matching reference to mysql. Which I found but only renamed.

I also found a few under Display version, under uninstall\installshield

But simply renamed ( but not deleted )

It still does not install
