Can't uninstall MySQL Installer

When trying to upgrade or uninstall mysql-installer I get the error:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"
"Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'mysql-installer-5.5.11.7.msi' in the box below."
Problem is I have deleted the msi and it is no longer available in the mySql archives.
Any ideas on how to proceed?
