Separate disk for data (inno), is helping performance (I/O) ?

Hello everyone,

I plan to configure my database server using this configuration:

1. I've 2 disk (sata ii @500gb)
2. HD 1 for OS, Software, and MySQL installation
3. HD 2 for MySQL data

My condition are:
1. All table are InnoDB
2. Will inserting data around 200k - 400k daily
3. Index those data hourly to Lucene

Are my setup will good enough? especially the IO ?
