A possible explanation...
The clock went backward, causing the lock time to be negative. But the time is in a positive field, so it is treated as a huge positive number.
(The numbers you gave do not work well to confirm this suspicion, so I am not very confident of the answer.)

I have seen elapsed time for one query be 2**32-1 or 2**64-1 (depending on whether it was a 32-bit build or 64-bit). I have seen this on random machines randomly. I have not figured out a pattern.

Suggest complaining to Oracle/MySQL that they should filter out such 'negative' values.
