Trouble connecting from SAS/ACCESS
I am having trouble seeing any MySQL tables in SAS through the ODBC connection. I can get the ODBC connection to work through SAS/ACCESS, but then do not see any tables in a database that I know has tables in it. I have switched the database and table names to all caps, but that had no noticeable effect.
Host machine is running Linux, MySQL version 4.1.9-standard. The client is running Windows XP w/ SP 2. I just downloaded & installed the latest ODBC driver (3.51.11.00). I am running SAS version 8.2, with latest hotfixes applied.
BTW, I have also verified that I can access the MySQL/ODBC data from within Excel.
