Saw the light
Some reflection:
My first option to work with mySQL was odbc. Today I don't remember why, but I ended working with odbc 2.5 due to some supposed compatibility issues. After that I switched to OLEDB (which supposed to represent better performance) and I fighted a lot with it up to this morning. A lot of water has passed under the bridge and today I switched back to myODBC 3.5, my very first option.
Result?...Success!!!
Now all runs smoothly and clear.
Fortunately, problems and work make the master.
Thanks a lot, Mike. Keep writing!
