Connector at new license constuction.

As far as I heard connector has new licensing construction.
The free version is become GPL, the LGPL is gone and born a new commercial license. In this situation more important questions are:
1). I can use commercial licensed connector with GPL server or standard server with GPL connector? This is question of derived work...
2). If I (or my customer) buy a standard server then they got commercial or GPL licensed connector? If the 2nd how to buy commercial connector license for?
3). What is the license situation for community developed drivers (eg. perl, python...)? If the connector is commercial then the drivers become other license?
