MySQL Server has gone away
Hi all.
I posted this topic in another forum but 1 week after and 0 answers i'm going to try it here.
I did an application in Delphi wich uses a MySQL DB, connected by MyODBC 3.5.
When developing and testing, I used a Linux Server with MySQL Server 5.0.18 and everything went OK.
When i installed the app on the client, I downloaded the latest version from MySQL (5.0.37) and now, the Server is allways going down.
After some seconds (15 or 20) with everything running allright, i can no longer do any queries because "MySQL Server has gone away".
I oppened the MySQL Administrator to see if the connection went down. The connection is oppened ok and after some time it disappears. And let me tell you that i keep working with MySQL during this time, so it's not abborted due to inactivity.
Was there any change in connections?
Does anyone know what is going on?
