SQL Syntax differences between mySQL and MS 2K5 / 2K8

Good morning,

I am trying to port a number of SQL DB creation scripts from MS SQL Server and am noticing a number of differences in syntax.

In particular my DB creation scripts have a number of GO statements in them that mySQL is not liking very much.

Is there any way to address this issue and similar types of issues in a cross DB compatible way so I do not have to maintain two distinct set of scripts for each DB.

Thanks in advance.

Whatty
