Does MySQL 5.0 support the SQL Merge statement
Hi All:
I like the SQL Merge Into... Using()... When Matched UPDATE SET.. When Not Matched INSERT ...". statement quite a bit and find it to be extremely useful in Oracle and DB2.
I don't believe MySql 5.0 supports this statement. When trying it thru TOAD or some other front end tool for mysql, the engine complains.
I did not see anything in the documentation regarding this.
Can someone verify this to be the case that mysql 5.0 does not support the Merge?
