Access Field to use

I have a MySQL db set up and my users want to use Access to interface with it. No problem there. Can someone tell me what the character limit on a text box in Access is? It appears to be around 62K. I have a field in one of the tables that is longtext and need to be able to store large amounts of text, one is ~250K characters. If a text box will not work can you suggest something else.
