Unable to connect to the MySQL database on remote server
Dear Experts,
I am new to MySQL as well as ASP.Net, i was a VB6 developer. I have switched from the simple windows application development to web application using ASP.Net with VB.Net. I have decided to use MySQL database.
The problem i am facing is whenever i am connecting to the MySQL Database on the localhost machine or any MySQL database in the LAN Network machines, it gets connected and i can perform all the necessary operations.
But when i try to connect to a remote database server which is not in the intranet, then i get the following exception: Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts.
Please help me to resolve this problem.
