MySQL Database Mirroring

Is there any version or add-on to MySQL that provides the functionality to have database mirroring for disaster-recovery type of data backup? We are looking for something similar to the mirroring functionality provided in SQLServer standard edition...but without having to pay the arm and the leg for it.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
