MYSQL Workbench
I am moving a MYSQL database from v5.0 to v5.6
MYSQL 5.6 has been installed.
I have a backup from the v5.0 system taken with MYSQL Workbench v6.0
When I try to restote the back on the new server (MYSQL 5.6) using MYSQL Workbench v8.0, it appears to restore the dbs, tables etc. , but there is an error message from workbench.
Error = ERROR 2006 (HY000) at line 10396: MySQL server has gone away
Operation failed with exitcode 1
15:57:22 Import of D:\Ricoh Resources\Dump20190814.sql has finished with 1 errors
Is the restored data safe to use? Or is the combination of versions causing the issue?
