How to check if MySQL is already installed or not
Alright ... please don't kill me for asking this question because this looks like mother of all FAQs. Today is my first day with MySql.
I have downloaded a vmware machine running centos-5.2. I have heard that most linux distributions already come with MySQL preinstalled.
How can I check if MySQL is already running on my linux machine?
