Migration Tool Decimal Treatment
Hi,
Just toying with using v5 and migrated my test database system. The test system has lots of decimal values in it and some do not migrate correctly.
Example. There is a field to hold a percentage which is defined as decimal(3,2), this works fine under v4.1 for percentages limited to maximum 100.00. When I migrate the database the data does not migrate for records with values in the percentage field. I modified the fields to be decimal(4,2), remigrated and all the data migrates.
Point: The migrate tool should adjust field size based on what appears to be new behaviour of definition for the decimal type in order to correctly migrate all data.
