Problem: mysql odbc installation on a windows terminal server

Dear all,
we tried to install the 3.51.9 version on a win2k-terminalserver.
The installation failed and the installer complained about the:
<Wrong operating system>.
Does anyone have any ideas about that?
Has anybody successfully installed odbc on w2k-termianlserver ?
Any comments are appreciated,
