Password problems on a fresh install
With a fresh install of 4.1.7 Essentials on Windows XP, I can access the test database, but ONLY by using the guest account. Using root, and the password I entered during setup, I can't access. I wasn't even able to change the password. Does this version use some default password? Is the password for some account other than root? I've COMPLETELY uninstalled and reinstalled, and still can't connect using the password I give. Nor can I connect using a blank password. Only the Guest account works...
