Why truncate is forbidden for Archive engine?
Hello,
I have a partitioned table using the Archive engine. I've not tried yet to drop partitions (that should work according to a post I saw), but I was wondering why the truncate method has been removed a while ago for the Archive engine (see MySql bug 15558)? Can somebody explain?
