I am not able to insert chinese character into MySQL database

Hi,
I am facing a problem while using MySQL 3.23
I can't insert chinese character into database.When I am trying to insert
chinese character into database it is converting into "?????" question mark.
Can anyone tell me how can I insert chinese character into database ?
