I downloaded mysql-workbench-gpl-5.2.40-win32.msi on Windows 7 64x and I was getting following error while doing installation;

The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I re-run the program to uninstall the software. Once uninstalled I have downloded vcredist_x86.exe from the below link and installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).

I ran the mysql-workbench-gpl-5.2.40-win32.msi again and it worked fine...
