Help with mysql download

I am trying to download mysql onto my pc, and I keep getting an error message "No compatible servers were found. You'll need to cancel this wizard and install one?"
I'm not at all well versed in coding lingo, I'm trying to install this as part of an intro sql class, and would rather figure this one out independently than ask my prof this question during class #2
(I'm on windows 8.1)
