Windows Service Problem

Hi

I installed MySQL notifier 1.1.6 and it was working properly until I restarted the computer. First it was telling me that the MySQL56 service was not responding, I found a previous post that suggested to delete the service and add it again and for some that solved the problem. I've done that and tried restarting the server. It flashes yellow for a couple of seconds (so changes to start pending) and then goes back to stopped. The error that is displayed after it is stopped says:

The service MySQL56 failed the most recent status change request with the message time out has expired and the operation has not been completed. If problem persists please restart MySQL Notifier.

I have restarted a few times and still cannot get it to start
