Distributed Transactions - Supported?

Hi All,

We're using .Net TransactionScope and when opening a MySQL connection (Using .NET connector 5.2.7) we get the following error:

MySQL Connector/Net does not currently support distributed transactions.

Can anyone confirm whether MySQL can handle distributed transactions?
