4.1.12 (Sun Solaris 10 ) and 4.1.13 (Suse Linux) in one Cluster

Hello,

I built a cluster with 3 machines, 2 of them runs Sun Solaris 10, MySQL Cluster 4.1.12, one machine runs Suse Linux 9.1 (64 bit) , MySQL Cluster 4.1.13

If I try to start the API Node on the Suse machine I get the error message:

Configuration error: Could not alloc node id at 10.1.2.7 port 2200: Node does not have the same endianness as the management server.
050728 1:34:14 [ERROR] Can't init databases

Would be a upgade to 4.1.13 on the solaris machines solve this (endianness) problem ? What the story behind this endianess ?
