Two phase commit in mysql cluster

Hi,
I have certain questions on what is the impact of two phase commit algorithm and how is it related to different parameters in mysql cluster-:

1.Mysql cluster uses two phase commit algorithm for synchronous replication within the cluster data nodes, The algorithm says that it has to get an agreement on commit from all the nodes, but the data is not written in all the nodes, but to nodes where we have to put the replica of that data, does that mean; more the no. of replica, more time it will take to commit and each replica will have the data at same moment

2.Keeping the number of replica same, Will the increase in number of node will affect the time for commit?

3.The algorithm says that there is a coordinator which collects the agreement from all the nodes, which node will act as the coordinator, is it the NDB management node?

Thanks
Shatabdi
