Data Missing
Hi,
Not sure if anyone has had this problem before, but some data from one of our tables has just gone missing. There is no commonality between the data, just information here and there is now gone. We have not yet found out how and why this happened.
Hence my post, we have two log file, ib_logfile and ibdata1. The file ib_logfile, is this a log file, of transaction and actions on the DB? If so how do we view it? As when we try and open it in a text editor we just get garbage as though it is encrypted.
Any ideas?
