Security of MySQL on laptop

I have a mysql server running on my laptop. One of the database contains sensitive information. Is it possible, without having to manually encrypt all the data, to ensure that if the laptop were stolen, the data was encrypted and could not be accessed? I'm thinking that for this I need two things - firstly the database to be secured with no stored passwords to it, and secondly that the file "ibdata1" which holds all the data was somehow encrypted. Any thoughts gratefully appreciated.
