Check Integrity of Backups

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post, thanks in advance for this great resource.

My new workplace uses MySQL administrator to manage a few of our databases and I have been asked to work out a way to verify the integrity of our backups. I have some experience with Oracle database administration, but none with MySQL.

Is there a simple way to check the integrity of backups using MySQL administrator?
