ERROR: client does not support authentication protocol...
Hi Guys,
got win2000, mysql server4.1, and want to use myODBC3.51 driver. Can't connect to the driver.
While using system ODBC administrator i test the connection and the the above mentioned error:
[MYSQL][MYODBC 3.51 driver]Client does not support authentication protocol requested by the server: consider upgrading mysqlclient.
WHen i was using mysql3.something it worked ok.
PLease what does it mean upgrading mysql client? And how to do it anyway?
