SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Hey guys,

I recently got stuck at this error. I get this when I try to open the main .php page of my website in my browser. I do not get this error when opening my website's phpmyadmin.php page in the browser.

However, I came across some things on the internet, but I am still lost and have no clue how to continue.

One of the things I came across is that I should create another user in mysql.user located at the phpmyadmin page. I don't know if this will work. That's why I am asking you guys for a solution.
