"Error 1064"

"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ': htmlspecialchars () expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in D: \ DOWNLO' at line 6"

What to do? And how an unexpiriencied user can fix it?

Please keep in mind I've just started to learn the basics of web-administration (localhost / Openserver / PHP_7.3 / My SQL-5.7) so I'm a total newbie in PHP and SQL.

Yes I've already checked the manual (www.php.net/manual/en/function.htmlspecialchars.php) but that didn't help me much, I still don't understand the algorithm of the actions. Would be very grateful if you explain to me what to do step by step.
