Database Migration
We are currently in the business of systems and software development and we create applications that use MSDE as backend database.
These applications are distributable, meaning we duplicate them and distribute them commercially.
The question is, for portable applications that can be installed instantly, would migrating to SQL help us deploy our commercial applications better? as compared to Btrive pervasive, Sybase, MS SQL Server
sidenote: we had experiences that on deployments to clients there are some difficulty running the program connencting to databases
