uploading mySQL

Can anyone help me! I am new to mySQL and managed to have both PHP and mySQL working on my local ( standalone) machine.
I am wandering on how I can't upload my site on web since I can physical manupulate mySQL database. I am used to MS access database which is easy to deal with and have no clue of how mySQL is uploaded into Host server.
Any help please!
