When i try to add say 5000 records with ADO it takes 93 sec with DAO it takes 47 sec to a mysql backend. When i add 5000 records with DAO to access backend (LAN) it takes 1 sec. I use access 2007 odbc 5.1 driver and mysql 5.5. Why is the mySQL backend with Access so slow?
>>
When i use transactions with ADO/DAO and mysql in vba Access the job is also done in 1 sec? Does transactions make the difference or am i doing something wrong?
