I am using MySQL, hence I put the question in this forum.
The reason I asked my question is because I didn't assume MySQL to be the same as SQL Server, but in some cases you can apply the same approach and in others not so I had to ask.
I will implement and test this using comparing the usage of temporary tables vs direct queries and see what works best for me.
If I have a specific question I will come back and ask it.
