Add a 'CHARACTER SET' clause to the LOAD TABLE. It needs to specify the _incoming_ encoding.
If that does not suffice, then
SHOW CREATE TABLE -- on each server
SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'char%'; -- on each server
Rectify any differences
