Scaling up mysql
Hi,
I am working on creating a huge database. About a hundred million records. I wanted to know how do i scale the indexing. I need to do full text index searches using hte MATCH AGAINST query. But each query seems to be taking about 15 seconds on a real fast machine. As you can imagine, any application with so many records means, there are going to be tonnes of read queires too! So, basically i would like to know how can mysql scale up to the mark? Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Jyot
