Thank you that's exactly what I did, apparently everything worked! command was faster than I expected in a database with 20 gb

is odd, the mysql developers should have thought of that.

My fear is that this command can corrupt the database, I could not find any instruction in mysqldump to change the instruction "type" to "engine" in real time.

did not quite understand what your second tip, could you explain better?
