InnoDB: Operating system error number 1117 in a file operation

Can anyone provide any info about the following error I am recieving in my log? I have been unable to find any info on the mysql site and forums about it (mabye I am not looking in the right place).

051020 11:03:30 InnoDB: Operating system error number 1117 in a file operation.

Any help or pointers to help would be much appreciated.
