Using Veritas NetBackup to back up MySQL cluster DB

MySQL version: 4.1.0
OS: Red Hat Linux

We are using Veritas Netbackup to backup a MySQL cluster DB. We first back up the DB to disk by using MySQL cluster backup “start backup” on the management server(ndb_mgm). Then we use NetBackup to backup the backup set to tapes. Is there anyway that we can backup MySQL cluster database to tapes directly by using NetBackup?
