if you do... as i expect... something like $blah=mysql_query("SELECT...");
and then echo $blah... then this result (resource id) is correct... if you crosscheck with / mysql_query...

to show you the data, if you expect more than one dataset try :

while ($xyz=mysql_fetch_array($blah)) {



then you will get the data you read from the db...
